Opened in 2001, the Apartheid Museum uses film, photographs, audio recordings, text panels and interactive exhibits to guide visitors through the rise and fall of apartheid.
What to Expect
The Entrance
At the ticket office, each visitor is randomly assigned a classification of either "white" or "non-white" and enters through different doors.

The museum features 22 individual exhibition areas spanning 3,000 square metres. Key sections include:
