Kruger National Park is a year-round destination, but the experience varies dramatically depending on when you visit.
## Dry Season (May – September) — Best for Game Viewing
The dry winter months are universally considered the best time for wildlife viewing:

### July & August

## Wet Season (October – April) — Best for Birding & Scenery
- **Migrant birds arrive** — 200+ species
- **Newborn animals**
- **Dramatic thunderstorms**
- **Fewer tourists** and lower prices
## Our Recommendation
